🥏 Bannerlord Caravan Not Making Money
Caravans make a lot of money if you are not at war, that means they are incredibly useful in the early stages of the game as you build your reknown. They are still worth it later on but will get destroyed on occasion by enemies or even bandits, mine don´t seem to get any more troops, at clan rank 4 the caravans still only have 30 troops.

If captured yes, you have to let them rejoin your party, and go start from square one, paying another 15k for another caravan, there is no way to let them resume. They need you to pay for mercs and merch to sell so you have to pony up another 15k. Caravans WILL be captured by even looters.
1. Apex-Editor • 2 mo. ago. My approach to trade is to focus one of my elder children on becoming traders then setting them up at 18 with a caravan and maxed skill + social stats. As they trade and earn you money, just play the game as usual and let them level the tedious skill on their own.
No, the caravan is still doing its thing. It's visiting settlements, it's just not making any money. Try finding the caravan and talking to your companion and see what they have in their stock. If it is empty maybe it is a bug. Stop caravan and re deploy it.

Im sure because the only way to operate a caravan is to buy one becaise you cant lead one yourself unless you pretend and the game Isn't going to make you do that to level up trade. Yeah the economy is not good at all right now. Workshops & caravans could be a lot better and armor prices are off the wall, 30k for something that costs 1k in warband. Those issues will be fixed eventually but for now you just have to either deal with them or download some mods. snipars_exe. Vlandia.
As of right now (2nd April 2020) a caravan usually earns between 100 - 1.5k Denar / Day (Wage not subtracted). Inclduing the daily wage of 150 - 250 Denar this means a caravan should net around -150 to 1.25k a day. Dont expect insane amounts, caravans can go without profit for days, and then make a lot more again.
Then max out your workshops. Then look into more parties or caravans. Fiefs are where the big money is at anyway. A city will bring you 2-3k a day easy. But if you’re hurting for money that bad right now do not drop everything you have on a caravan that’s risky and could screw you over hard.

Also re-loading the game makes you pay and eat again which can make is seem like they didn't pay you anything since it doesn't re-set thier money, just makes you pay/eat because it's a dum bug. Order the 1st companion back into your party and then give them a caravan and repeat the above to get unlimited caravans beyond the limit of the number of your companions.
